Neutralizing co2 is unclear
Skeptical
Today, the everyday consumer is left overwhelmed with the options available to remove CO2 and concerned if their contribution will make a difference.
Scandals
Amazon Projects Fabricated
“I believe that Verra is doing the certification incorrectly,” federal deputy Thiago Marrese Scarpellini, chief Greenwashing Operation investigator, told Mongabay after the raid. “But I don’t know if it’s their fault because it’s based in the United States, and I don’t know if there’s land-grabbing in the United States. But we have it here. And if we are a promising market [for carbon credits] they will have to adjust to certain circumstances here.”
time X Costs before Impact
Approximately 3 years of paperwork with $200,000+ in auditing fees.
"The process of developing a carbon offset project usually takes between 12 and 36 months, depending on the project’s typology and complexity, as well as how advanced the project is on the ground. It takes on average 18 to 24 months to issue the first credits for renewable energy, energy efficiency or community-based projects, and around 24-36 months for forestry projects" Eco-Act.com
Evidence based impact
What is our true indicator of removed CO2?
Photos and videos have long served as reliable evidence of work being authentically completed in the field. Creating impact in real time without the administrative burden of financing a carbon verification.
Our IMPACT works
Burned land in Anse-Rouge, Haiti with desert-like conditions restored in 3 years. 600,000+ mangroves planted which is approximately 180,000 MTCO2 in it's entire life span.
How do we create trust?
Blockchain-Backed Transparency
Built on Hyperledger Fabric through Managed Blockchain to provide a secure, immutable, and transparent record of all transactions, ensuring full traceability from donation to mangrove planting. Donors can monitor their contributions in real-time, with GPS coordinates and updates recorded directly on the blockchain.
GPS Unique Identification
Prevent Double Counting A/R
Field planters are equipped with AR-enabled devices to guide them to exact planting locations. GPS ensures that each mangrove is planted 1 meter apart, and AR signals (e.g., turning green when in the correct spot) guide planters. Once the tree is planted, the planter takes a verification photo, which is uploaded to the platform and made available to the donor in real time.
How will I know it'll survive?
Predictive Analytics for CO2 Sequestration
Predictive analytics are used to estimate CO2 sequestration rates based on environmental conditions and growth patterns, giving donors updates on the impact of their contributions after photo is taken.
